Stainless steel is more hygienic than plastic, so I ordered an additional one. Upon thinking about it, it's better to use it alternately with the included plastic water bowl, as it's easier to clean and dry.

At first I didn't know how to use it properly, regarding the sound alarm, and I thought it wasn't working well.
My cats love it and always have clean water; they get amazed when the dish moves and the water falls out.

I got the whole automatic pet water dispenser, and didn't have the option to get a stainless steel at that time. Glad i found one that was! My only downside to this is the bowl is the only stainless part. I'd like to have it all be metal, as inside the white tube part is a little hard to clean. But other than that the whole bowl part is metal, top and bottom all 1.

Perfect!!! I have bought many water dispensers for cats over the years, and my cats didn't like them. This is the only device that worked. Really satisfied with the purchase!
